call for submission!

Would you like to install an impactful art installation that can be experienced and seen by everyone that comes to The Zipper Festival?!

We are looking for artists to build temporary, site-specific installations that create an interactive, experience for people to connect with or with each other. To align with our MISSION and VISION, these installations would encompass an inviting space to spark conversations and new ideas while experiencing the artists’ unique expression.

We would love it to be obvious to everyone who comes to the festival, that this is an Interactive Fest bringing people out to experience something different, all in the name of combating social isolation and loneliness. We feel the art installations are one of the best avenues to express this. Help us to get our message across!

  • Artist will be provided with at least a 10’ x 10’ space. Most spaces are on open concrete. Possible grass space, fence line, railroad tracks, and gravel space.

  • • If your art is chosen to be at The Zipper, you will be compensated. Half the amount at time of acceptance and the final half upon completion on Sept 7th.

    • 2 drink tickets for Six Mile Ordinary Distillery to be used the day of the festival.
